About Me

Writing has been a refuge during very difficult times in my life. I’ve always been a sentimental person and memories are so dear to me. So I love to capture it all through my words and through my lens. Even more so with my health challenges living with kidney failure and post transplant. All while raising a family & still trying to manage life in general.

I am blessed to be a mother of 2 beautiful sons and married to my high school sweetheart. I love the Lord with all my heart! I try to stay active and spiritually healthy. I’ve found there is a strong connection when your spirits is up the health follows, despite the obstacles from my health challenges; I’ve been able to rely on my faith to get me through each day and truly focus on all the blessings that is present.

My interest and inspirations consist of family life, art, animals (dog lover), inspirational quotes, ministry & non-profit organization work, music, movies (drama, foreign, documentaries, etc..), Just about all TV competitions (Also food network, A&E, TLC etc..), I love creating (invitation, favors, etc..), vintage/retro styles, event planning, photography (usually snapped with my phone via Instagram @MaribelB/Retrocam), spirituality and self improvement, cooking, HUGE FOODIE (with my diet restrictions & all), reading, tattoos..

I write about refuge, love, health, family, life, being a mother, being married, the obstacles, my faith, interest, and inspiration.
